Job Duties:
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools as required
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to complete jobs to the highest standard
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems as required
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding, and hardware to perfection
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
- Framing as per the requirements of the job.
- Boarding, taping, mudding, and paint to complete job
- Install vanity or cabinets if required
Job Requirements:
- Punctual
- Attention to detail
- Driver license is an asset
- Read a tape measure
- Excellent math skills
- Be willing to work on a rotating and on-call schedule
