 Job Duties:

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools as required 
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to complete jobs to the highest standard
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems as required 
  • Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding, and hardware to perfection 
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
  • Framing as per the requirements of the job. 
  • Boarding, taping, mudding, and paint to complete job 
  • Install vanity or cabinets if required 

Job Requirements:

  • Punctual 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Driver license is an asset 
  • Read a tape measure 
  • Excellent math skills 
  • Be willing to work on a rotating and on-call schedule 
     

Benefits: 50/50 Extended Medical and Dental – Employee pays 100% life and insurance 

Wage Offered: 25.00 CAD/hour
